My Vista Service Pack 1 Fix
I was getting this error code: 8007005.
I was trying to install a Windows Update.
This update is KB936330
Which is known as the Service Pack 1 (SP1).
How did I get this fixed?
I believe it was something to do with OneCare.
I did some reach after research and couldn’t come up with anything.
Just the fact people believe it was OneCare causing it.
So what I did to fix this…
I disabled my Firewall and Antivirus on OneCare.
Now doing this can make you vulnerable.
So use caution when doing this.
I make no claims this will work for you.
So you can try this at your own risk.
I am just posting how I got it to work.
It worked on the 2nd try.
It actually downloaded and restarted the machine and then it had problems with install so it stopped it and went back to normal. So I tried it again, it downloaded and installed and now I have the SP1.
Once it was installed, I reinstated my Firewall and Anti-virus.

Fast Access here we come!
We should have DSL in just over a week!
I cannot wait to get rid of Dial-up.
We were going to go with this one provider, but it isn’t available in our area,
because the telephone lines are still the “Old School” lines.
And I live very close to downtown Knoxville!
WTF?
Well, it is their loss and this other providers gain.
Now to buy a Wireless Router so both laptops can be online at the same time.
Then we can have Wi-Fi at our house for the family.

Panera Bread Wi-Fi
Did you know that Panera Bread now limits Wi-Fi access between 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
You can only have 30 minutes of being on the Internet.
I had my computer connected while I was eating.
After I got done eating, I surfed for a little bit and then it wouldn’t let me surf anymore.
The store gave me the 800 number for the help line.
They told me that the stores are now installing
“Time Tables” on the Wi-Fi.
So if you go to Panera Bread during that time, make sure you connect
when you are read to surf. I have never had a problem before.
This is something new they are doing.
So I had to go across the parking lot to Arby’s to use their Wi-Fi.
