CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS, CHANGE YOUR BATTERIES
That is the motto I go by when it comes to Day Light Savings time. (When we set our clocks ahead or back an hour).
Spring = + 1 Hour (set ahead an hour)
Fall = – 1 Hour (set back an hour)
We set our clocks ahead at 2 a.m. on March 8, 2009. I set mine before going to bed. While I am up changing my clocks ahead an hour, I always change my batteries in my smoke alarms. I would also change them in my carbon dioxide detectors.
This is a comment time for my readers. Do any of you follow this rule? If not, when do you change your batteries in your smoke alarms? Please give me feedback. BTW, any of my livejournal friends can also reply to my blog entries, I have OpenID comments, so you can leave them using your LJ username.
Thanks for reading my post.
