America made history today with our 44th President. That history we made today was the fact that we now have our first African-American President.

Here are the Presidents that I have been around so far…

39. James Carter (1977 to 1981)

Let it snow!

Knoxville, TN got a good dusting of snow today. It hasn’t snowed in a long time to cover the ground, even with a dusting cover in a very long time, I would say a few years. This is also the first snow fall of 2009.

Freezing outside

Knoxville got into the single digits the other day, around 7ยบ.
It is now near the mid 30’s.
They say Knoxville hasn’t got down to the single digits since 2003.
That is a long time eh? This came from this clipper that came and hit the northern states that brought cold weather down to Knoxville. They say even down in Atlanta, GA felt freezing temps too.

It’s 2009!

It is very hard to believe that it is already 2009. It seems time flies by each and every day. It seems to go by quicker the older we get. I will be 33 years old this year. My daughter will be 11. I hope that 2009 will bring a lot of good things. I know Christmas was just year, but Christmas 2009 will be here before we know it.

Are you ready for 2009?
