I figured I would start something new.
I am going to try to do this every Saturday.
I am going to make a Business Card Briefs post.
It will have a brief write up about an article online that pertains to business cards
that I want to share with my readers of my journal (blog).
So this is my first post on them.

Business Card Briefs

According to an article in Mercury News on March 14, 2008 by Mike Antonucci, there is a new trend to use business cards. But instead of calling them business cards they are called “Profile Cards.” A profile card is like a business card but it is geared toward your profile on a networking type of Web site.

This article in The Wall Street Journal on March 6, 2008 by Abigal Pesta, mentions about how many business cards people need. Today, people have several business cards based on what they want to use them for. I myself have several business cards. I have my freelance and my collector one. I have several versions of my collector too. This article talks about pricing and quality of business cards. They went through and rated some places that design and print business cards.

The LA Times reports in a blog of theirs in February 19, 2008 talks about Eco-friendly (Going Green) business cards. The mention how expensive it is to get business cards printed on recycled paper and using veggie based inks. This blog post pretty much mentions how much eco-friendly business cards cost in the Los Angeles, CA area.

According to the Seacoast Business News on March 14, 2008 they mention about Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce (NH) hosting a business after hours networking. To get into this event all it cost was 2 business cards. It also mentions about an Open House for the The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce (NH). They ask you to bring a good supply of business cards to hand out.
