Scout Sunday
Today is…
SCOUT SUNDAY!
Well it is today, if your scout troop is associated with the United Methodist Church.
My troop that I attained my rank of Eagle was at a United Methodist Church.
I grew up in a Southern Baptist Church, but my church didn’t have a Scout Troop.
Besides the Scout Troop I meet at was about 2 blocks from my house, if that.
If your scout Troop isn’t with the United Methodist Church, then you celebrate it the Sunday before the 8th of February (because that is Scouting Anniversary). The United Methodist Church celebrates Scouting Sunday the 2nd Sunday of February.
Once an Eagle Scout, Always an Eagle Scout!
I attained my rank of Eagle in 1994.
