February 17, 2009

Category: Uncategorized

Does anyone out there know why February 17, 2009 is an important date?

Well you should, esp. if you have an old analog tv, like me.

After this date you will no longer be available to pick up signals using an antenna or rabbit ears.
You can get a converter to be able to pick up the new digital signals, but it won’t make it digital.
You can get up to 2 coupons at a value of $40 at:
https://www.dtv2009.gov.

Also if you want to learn more about this switch you can visit:
http://www.dtv.gov/whatisdtv.html

You might have been seeing your local stations advertising about this change over.
