No vacation this year
Normally we head to Michigan for a week this time of year. It was scheduled for week of June 17, but since I started my new job and don’t have vacation just yet. We cannot make it. I hope for us to be able to do it next year. We go to Michigan to visit family. We usually stay at my father-in-laws and visit with my wife’s family. We even take our cat, Missy with us when we go.
We also plan to have us a yard sale soon. Wish luck that we get rid of what we need to get rid of.

Tax updates
Tennessee just raised the cig tax another 42¢
This raise will go for education.
Tennessee also plans to raise ita gain another 3¢
This will go for Veteran stuff.
Now to our food tax. Since Tennessee doesn’t have a state income tax we have high food taxes.
Two proposals are in works to lower it.
No tax on food from November & December of each year
or…
Lower the state part of it from 6% to 5.5% on food.
Plus you still have your county/city taxes on the food of 3 something, depending on the city/county you live in.

gotta hit!
My hit! — This bill has travelled 149 Miles in 243 Days, 22 Hrs, 2 Mins at an average of 0.61 Miles per day. It is now 149 miles from its starting location. I entered this bill in Knoxville, TN, I made a note that I give it as a tip in Gatlinburg, TN, but it got hit in Cherryville, NC.
Whinning does wonders! I want more hits and I want them now! *fingers crossed* Wish me luck!
