Outback Bowl

January 01st, 2007 | Category: Uncategorized

Tennessee played Penn state in the Outback Bowl in Tampa, FL.
The Vols lost the game. It sounded like a good game.
A close game until the near end. Penn State won by a score of 20 to 10.

My 2006 Business Card Stats

January 01st, 2007 | Category: Uncategorized

Web site
I had 8,161 visitors throughout the year to my web site.
That averages about 22 hits per day during 2006.
My best month was April with 1,115 hits for the month.
An average of 37 hits per day that month. Mainly due to the fact
that I was on NPR. My worst month of the year was December
with 557 hits for the month. An average of almost 18 hits per day for that month.

Media
I had several media attention in 2006 as well.
National Public Radio (radio), Live at Five (TV), Tennessee Traveler (TV), Knoxville Journal (newspaper), The Post Post (newspaper), Toledo City Paper (newspaper), The New England Antique Journal (newspaper), Calgary Sun (newspaper) and possible a few others.

Business Cards Gained
I gained 27,237 business cards in 2006. 2006 was the most I ever gained in one year.
The most I gained at one time in 2006 was 3,335 on Jan. 6, 2006.
Of course the least I gained was 1, several occurances throughout 2006.

Business Cards Sent Out
I sent out 9,855 business cards. 320 were in Welcome Packages, 6,545 in Trades and 2,990 in donations.

Money
I spent $463.18 on my collection this year.
That is cost of postage for trades and thank yous.
Also cost of supplies, membership fees, business card printings, material for my binders, binders, sheet protectors, etc. I gained $325.30 on my collection. Some of that is from donations, people who paid to have a link on my web site (sponsorship) and those who have paid for postage on some duplicate business cards I had. So I lost $137.88 on my hobby. This also include barder deals (values — where I got printing free).

Goals
I set primary and secondary goals in 2006. If I met my primary goal early I would set a seconardy goal. I set goals for Easter, Father’s Day, My Birthday, Halloween and Christmas.
In 2006 I meet all my primary & secondary goals. Within the next few days I will set my primary goals for 2007.

Videos
I also made several video blogs about my hobby too. They are all posted on You Tube.
If you haven’t watched them, please do so, also rate them and leave me comments on You Tube too, please. Cardeologist — You Tube Videos. I have plans to do more. I still plan to do the one idea you suggested as well, . Also, if you are a member of You Tube, please add me as a friend, and I will add you back.

How to add to collection!
Want to know how you can add to my collection. Mail them to me…

Thanks to all of you who have helped to make this year great.
I hope with the help of all you that I can make 2007 even better.
