Fandemonium

Category: Uncategorized

I now can share with you the big news about The Big Orange Army. So I figured, I would use the Press Release for this event:

Knoxville, Tennessee – Tennessee’s next great tradition, the Big Orange Army is on the rise and ready for all orange blooded Vol fans to join. The BOA is a fan based officially licensed organization designed to unite the Volunteer faithful throughout the land. With the beginning of the 2006 football season, the BOA is gaining momentum in trying to reach its 100,000-member goal by the end of the football year.

On September 16, Florida comes to Knoxville and the Big Orange Army has picked this day to have the grand opening of their official headquarters. The store, located at 1838 Cumberland Ave., will sell officially licensed merchandise that features the organization’s own clothing line, fan game day gear and much more. The store will open at noon on Saturday.

Are you ready for Big Orange Fandemonium? Well, when the Big Orange Army unveils their newest addition, it’s sure to surprise. During the grand opening before the Tennessee – Florida game, Huey will make his debut as the newest member. A Big Orange Army Heavy Mech-1 tank, nicknamed Huey in loving memory of Hughlen R. Thornton Jr., will serve per say as the symbol of the BOA much like the cow serves Mayfield. The tank will be driven in convoy for charity events, promotional events, for kids and for the fans. The tank is the embodiment and spirit of the thousands and thousands of BOA soldiers. Knoxville city and county police, U.T. police, ATF and the National Guard have all been notified that the cannon of the tank has been permanently and irreparably decommissioned. The only thing shot from it will be BOA merchandise and orange and white confetti.

This upcoming event is a can’t miss opportunity for all Vol fans. Show your true colors and see what the Big Orange Army hype is all about.

This was written by Chris Shields. These photos below were taken by Chris Shields as well. I did the the photo editing. The one I knocked the background out, added the BoA crest and the name of the tank. The other photo, I added the BoA crest to it.
