9.11 Five Years Later (Patriot Day)
I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Patriot Day. Let us never forget what happend five years ago. Let us remember those who lost their lives and those who protected and saved the lives that they did. God Bless America!
I can remember where I was on that day. I was at work, Star Publications in Gaylord, MI. We had this one gossip lady. She came back and tells us everything going on with the scanner (Emergency ones). Anyways, this day she came to the back and told us about an airplane flying into the World Trade Center. We all were in shock. So we had a couple of people go home and got tv’s to watch while we worked. That is the good thing about working in a village, work for most people were within 5 miles. So we had the tv’s on watching this tragedy take place, while praying for those invovled for for the safety of them.
I would like to say thanks to those Firefigheters, EMT’s and Police who tried to help save other lives, while risking their own. I also to the families of those who lost loved ones.
We shall never forget.
I watched the documentary that was on tv last night. It was unedited and all that. It was a very intresting and well done documentary.
Because of the events from 5 years ago, brings us to today which is now known as Patriot Day.
