First Vol game…
Anyone going to the first home game, Sept. 2 when the Vols play California? If you are and you like to go to the tailgate parties, let me know. I have something for someone who wants it. What is it? It is 3 tickets World’s Largest Tailgate Party To Benefit The Interfaith Health Clinic. It is presented by Greater Knoxville Sertoma, Knoxville Association of Health Underwriters and Big Oranger Army. You get some food from Chick-fil-A. So speak now or forever hold your peace. This won’t last long and how much will this one cost you? Absolutely nothing! I cannot attend this and am passing it onto someone that can. E-mail me: stevep at cardeologist dot com. Or reply to this comment on how to get ahold of you to get these tickets.

BOA!
I am now a proud member of the BOA! What is the BOA you ask? It is Big Orange Army. It is an army of Vol fans. (For the Fans, by the Fans). If you love the Vols, no matter what sport it is. You yourself can join up and become a member of the Big Orange Army. Even Charlie Daniels is a member. He is the Brigadier General. Even UT Basketball Coach, Major Bruce Pearl and Brigadier General Coach Phillip Fulmer are members. Major Kid Rock is a member as well. The list goes on and on as to the members such as Dolly Parton, Charles Barkley.
The Big Orange Army is built on a military-style ranking system, where we promote and reward the outstanding fans who go above and beyond the call of duty to promote the University and their communities. (taken from the Big Orange Army Website).
Although the Big Orange Army is in no way associated with service in the United States armed forces, the setup of the BOA is structured that way. The BOA is intended to strengthen the unity of Vol fans by uniting the orange faithful throughout Tennessee and the world. (taken from Chris Shields story in The Knoxville Journal, April 17, 2006).
The BOA even has a license agreement with the University of Tennessee.
Show your true Volunteer Spirit and enlist in the Big Orange Army.
Did I mention you get great benfits as a member and your membership is for a lifetime!
The BOA hopes to have over 100,000 enlisted by the end of the football season.
When you join, let them know you heard about the BOA from Steve Patterson!

I won $100!
I just won $100 from WIVK, my radio station. I won because I filled in why Prilosec has changed my life. Well I said something to the fact that it helps with my heart burn so I don’t have it so much. Isn’t that cool?!? They just called me to tell me I was the winner from Monday and asked if Andy & Alisson called me to let me know. I was like nope. So I go and pick it up this week.

Gotta hit!
My hit! — This bill has travelled 624 Miles in 244 Days, 20 Hrs, 27 Mins at an average of 2.5 Miles per day. I entered it in Knoxville, TN and it is now in Kearny, NJ. I have noticed recently that a good bit of my bills end up in NJ from TN.
I got my BoF (Bank of Frank) hit map working for each bill at home. I was wondering why it would work at my work, but not at home. It had to do with Norton’s Internet Security. I had to allow BoF’s web site and such and presto! It worked! One of the great benefits of having FoG (Friends of George) account.
Whining does wonders! I want more hits & I want them now! *fingers crossed* Wish me luck!
