Praxi’s!
Yesterday, my wife, , took the Praxi’s test to prove to the state of Tennessee her highly qualified status, so she can teach here. According to Michigan, she is highly qualified, but Tennessee doesn’t honor the test that Michigan had them take and Michigan won’t send a letter head letter stating that she is highly qualified. So to prove it, she had to take this test called the Praxi’s. It cost like $115 or so. I believe in about one month she will know her scores. I know she passed. But, it is about too late to higher her for this year, unless something happens to a teacher in the middle of the year. This has been a long road and I know she will be happy once she is able to teach and have a classroom of her own.
