Upromise
I logged into our Upromise account. We have $5.75 in our Upromise account. I have been a member sicne December 2001. Upromise allows you to save for college. If you want to help my daughter, you can sign up, register your grocery store shopping cards like Kroger, Food City, CVS, & tons more. When you buy certain items like Elmer’s products, Coca-Cola products, BIC razors, Old Spice products, Egg Lands Best products, Nestle products, and more. A few cents (usually 1-5% of the total amount paid w/out tax on elibable items) or so will be donated to that card for the student you wish to help. Even if you are saving for your own, you can have a certain percentage to to other kids too. Basiclly this is like a saving account for the kids whent hey go to college. If you want to help let me know.

Dats my girl!
Dats my girl. She has been in her room listening to her “Orange” CD. It is full of songs for the Vols. A lot of different versions of Rocky Top. Even “Rocky Top Slide”, “Climb on up, on up to Old Rocky Top”, and a few other ones like that. It reminds me that Sept. 1., Gunner on WIVK will be playing all his the versions of Rocky Top at the station. I believe he has enough to last his whole shift and then some. He often does this every Friday before a game. Esp. the first game of the season! GO VOLS!

Another nice birthday present…
Here is another nice birthday present. I got a hit on Where’s George! My birthday hit! — This bill has travelled 156 Miles in 23 Days, 17 Hrs, 24 Mins at an average of 6.6 Miles per day. I entered this bill in Knoxville, TN and it is now in Nashville, TN. (I added a note to this bill that it was hit on my 30th birthday)
Whining does wonders! I want more hits & I want them now! *fingers crossed* I was starting to think I was on a dry spell of no hits here lately.

Praxi’s!
Yesterday, my wife, , took the Praxi’s test to prove to the state of Tennessee her highly qualified status, so she can teach here. According to Michigan, she is highly qualified, but Tennessee doesn’t honor the test that Michigan had them take and Michigan won’t send a letter head letter stating that she is highly qualified. So to prove it, she had to take this test called the Praxi’s. It cost like $115 or so. I believe in about one month she will know her scores. I know she passed. But, it is about too late to higher her for this year, unless something happens to a teacher in the middle of the year. This has been a long road and I know she will be happy once she is able to teach and have a classroom of her own.

Today!
I am 30 today! Happy birthday to myself. I got a brand new wallet for my birthday. We also went and had breakfast bar at Shoney’s. Plus, later today, I will have me a yummy strawberry cake with strawberry icing. (Whipped icing at that). YUMMY!

Business cards…
I got 7 business cards. I picked them up myself at one of the stores I go to that has them pinned up on a board. My new overall total is 95,469.
