Yesterdays business card roundup!
I got 83 unique business cards yesterday. I got them from…
- 2 — Myself
- 2 — aka My wife
- 79 — Westchester, NY — No return address (1 Dup)
- 0 New — Old coworker (900+ Dups) — Their old business cards
As you can see, I also take dups, for those new to reading my journal. Dups can help me trade with my other collector friends. I belong to several clubs. I have a database of over 500 people that have collected or still collect. I think one person said he has one that is over 1,000. I prob. trade with an avg. of 20 regular traders and about another 20 non-regular. Plus, one of my clubs I belong to, they pick 2 people for Member of the Month and we send them 20 cards, plus those whos birthdays are for that issue. What I also do is, if I get over 75 of close to it of one card, I will group it in a lot of 50, to use at a business card gathering that usually goes on once a year for the big one, and sometimes there are mini-gatherings that happen here and there. I haven’t yet been able to attend one, but, I do mail one so they have plenty of cards for those who attended. I know if I attended one, I would like to gain tons and tons of new business cards.

Oh yea, I am very close to my short-term goal of 93K by my birthday. I have slightly a little over one month until my birthday. But, we are not going to mention how old I am going to be. This 93K is my secondary short-term goal. But as always, my long-term goal is ONE MILLION.
Now to see what is in the mail today, as far as, business cards are concerened. BTW, I will be posting my half-year stats for my business cards soon, prob. this Saturday, July 1.
