WOW!
I must say is… “WOW!” My story that ran on NPR really has been popular. I have had tons of e-mails and a lot of people who have signed my guestbook on my web site. A lot of them told me they heard me on NPR and are sending me business cards. Isn’t that cool? I kept track of my visitors around half an hour after I aired. So 4/22/06 at 10 a.m. I had 13,397 visitors.
Then, around 6:25 p.m. on 4/22/06 I had 13,578.
Then, around 9:45 p.m. on 4/22/06 I had 13,600.
Then today, 4/23/06 at 12:45 p.m. I had 13,670.
Now, 4:30 p.m. on 4/23/06 I had 13,707 visitors.
So that is around 310 visitors to my site from my airing. Now that is totally awesome. I’d love it if I could land a national TV exposure. That would be great, wouldn’t it? Then, I would be famous! I’d have to sign my hobby cards when I send out my thank yous. *snickers*
Did any of you get to hear it? If not you can go to NPR’s web site and listen to it. I just wished I could get it converted to a mp3 file or that. I just cannot figure out how to save it. Anyone else know how I can do that?

Listen to my NPR segment!
View my story and you can also listen to the segment as well. Click on listen. Now I wished I could figure out how to download this file to a mp3 or something like that. Anyone know how to do that or can do that for me? If so, can you e-mail it to me? Please!
I have had tons of e-mails from those who are sending me business cards. Even a couple who collect them as well. Plus, since 10 a.m. (now 5 p.m.) I have had almost/over 200 visitors, in just one day! Can you believe that? Wow! I cannot wait to see the mail response I get from this. Maybe this national radio exposure will lead to tv exposure? I am going to be famous! Wishful thinking eh? Shoot, just think one day picking up my mail, having to carry my mail home in a mail bag. LMAO
Also can someone print the page that my story is on from the NPR as a pdf? I have been trying and it says I cannot do it, because the file is in use or locked. Even tried to print from the print icon on the page and still no luck. If you can, please e-mail that to me too.
THANKS!
