The Vols…

September 18th, 2005 | Category: Uncategorized

The Tennessee Vols lost to Florida Gators. The score was 16 to 7. The Vols just seem to not do well. But after all Tennessee was ranked #4 and Gators was ranked #7 I think. But both teams are strong teams. So it was a good ball game. I am sure the new Coach for the Gators will make it good now that he defeated Phil Fulmer (the most winning coach). Our next game is next week. We play LSU Tigers. We will play the game in Baton Rouge, LA. GO VOLS!

Got business cards?

September 17th, 2005 | Category: Uncategorized

I got some business cards in the mail today. I got 23 from a trader friend in Farmington, AR. My overall total is 74,275. I have my t-shirt design done. The cheapest I found was for about $8, then I had to order 24 min. EEK! So, I am going to try to make my own. Wish me luck.

I am also going to take the family to the fair. This way my daughter can get some business cards for herself too. Plus, then I can grab me a few and get me some extras for trading.

Fair & Business Cards!

September 15th, 2005 | Category: Uncategorized

I did my shift at the fair today. It was fun, it was kind of dead at the fair today. Not that many people were there. I am a lil’ upset that I didn’t get to see any of my local LJ friends there. Oh well. I did get a lot of business cards. I got 54 from the fair today. I even got a handful of duplicates too. I got a few business cards in the mail from today! Thanks! My new overall total is 74,252 business cards. Thanks to everyone who has sent me business cards, who is saving up business cards to send me later and for those who mention me in your journals. I have seen a few of you post about me and collecting business cards. I think that is sweet. Thanks very much. My family and I are going to the fair as a family this weekend sometime. I will be back to the Jacobs building to round up more business cards. These will be duplicates again to me. So then I will have some more trading cards. I spent $4 dollars at the fair. $2 for a 20 Oz bottle Pepsi. Geez! $2 for a huge cup of over salted popcorn. LOL Those bills were marked and entered into Where’s George. So I hope I get some hits off of them. Wish me luck. I made a note that the Tennessee Valley Fair is in town. This way I will know that the hits came from the fair. Kewl eh?

Go Vols!

September 15th, 2005 | Category: Uncategorized

The Tennessee Vols play the Florida Gators Saturday in “The Swamp.” That is in Gainsville, FL home of the Gators. If it rains the Vols are screwed, so pray for no rain! They say that none of the Vols we have playing have lost at “The Swamp.” But, I think that is because none of them have ever played at “The Swamp.” I am not sure. BTW, the Gators are one of our rivals in football. Them as well as Alabama Tide. So I hope the Vols kick some Gator. The Vols are going to have some TFG. That is Tennessee Fried Gators! Taste like chicken!

GO VOLS!

I got someone in Posen MI. Posen is near wear my wife is from. I got a small stack from some fan. They dropped them off at work and said this is for the guy that collects them taht work here. I was like kewl. I have fans of my own newspaper. :) Yea! I also got some from a normal contributor that lives here in Knoxville. Then my mother-in-law from Alpena, MI sent me a huge stack. I got 114 from these last few days. My new overall total is 74,195. I am going to go to the fair tonight. So I hope I can walk by the booths inside where our work booth is and pick-up some business cards to add to my collection. Wish me luck!
