I didn’t get any business cards today.  But, like I said yesterday I did get about 60 business cards.  I got some from .  Thanks!  Plus one from a trader.  My new overall total is over 71,100.  I have over 60 entries to reply to.  Take care!  It is the 4th of July weekend.  Enjoy it y’all!

It’s Thursdays my normal WGing.  Back to only entering the $1’s.  Since those ones I don’t take to the credit union.  Since on my vacation the the bigger ones stayed with me and not the credit union.  With WG you cannot dump the bills after entering them.  You have to spend them.  So now I keep all my $1’s, enter them, mark them and then spend them. You can sign up for FREE too!  You enter info from your bills.
You enter in the denomination, year, serieal number, and a note about the bill.  You submit it.  Once you are done you put www.wheresgeorge.com on the bill.  Then, you spend it!  Its that easy and fun!  You can even order stampers, I found one for cost of postage only.  Hits can come instantly or they can take some time.  Some people say they have got some hits a year later.  But, you will get them sooner or later.  The more you enter and mark the more chances of getting them entered.  Spend them in places you think people would enter them.  Hey if you have an internet cafe place near by, go there and spend them.  You are bound to get some hits there.  I have had good luck with giving them as tips, esp. to pizza delivery drivers.

Oh yea, I still need to submit my press release for my business card collecting to a few places still.  Does any of you have the contact info for your local newspaper, if you do, can you send that to me, I want to try to submit them my press release and see if they will do a story on me and my business card collection.  I have had 7 newspapers already either do a story or do it as a letter to the editor.  I been on TV once and mentioned on radio by 2 stations.  Both of those stations have told me they want me on as a guest in the future, but I haven’t heard back from them yet.  I have had my press release with some of those free press release companies too.

Man I just spent most of the morning going over my friends back enteries, I went throught 820 of them. I got back to June 23, I left for vacation on the 17th. I am tired now. So sorry I won’t get caught up on those, so I will start from where I am now and keep updated on your new post. Please forgive me. I need to get back to work now.

I got a lot of business cards today! I got alittle over 200 today. Guess what?!? I have over 71K now! Go me! My numbers keep growing each and every day. Oh yea, I have an ad in the Touring the Smokies publication. Guess what this publication is going into the paper (already in the paper this week), then it will also go to the welcome centers in Tennessee and we have it going to go to the Ohio State Fair and the Kentucky State fair. This ad is a small one of my business card. How cool is that? Maybe that will help me get more exposure, etc. I am also got plans to submit my press release to a few more newspapers sometime soon. Maybe one of them will do a story on me. I wished I could go on TV again and/or go on radio.

This might help you save on postage when you send me business cards. I hope this helps as a guide.

up to 20 business cards is 37 cents == 1 oz.
up to 40 business cards is 60 cents == 2 oz.
up to 60 business cards is 83 cents == 3 oz.

This is for US postage rates, sorry not sure how it works for internationally sending to me. If you can send it a slower way to save money, go ahead and do that way.

You know it cracks me up them taking the “Ten Commandments” out of court houses, etc. Hello! Isn’t the “Ten Commandments” the first set of laws recorded? Isn’t most of all our laws based on the “Ten Commandments.” Why get rid of those when our money still says “In God We Trust”? It all doesn’t make sense. So I say these places if they want to keep them, then put other historical articafts next to them, because that is the way to keep them now. What is this world coming to.

I got some cards in the mail today! I got about 150 today plus about 50 dups. Thanks! My new overall totals are over 70,800. I got cards from , and someone in New Zealand. Thanks y’all! I love them.

Oh yea I am cookin’ some chickin’dumplins.

Get this, those slips I had in my post office box, the post office clerk had no clue what they were.  I said they were in my box, don’t I have mail that needs picked up?  I was on vacation.  Get this part, she looked in the back and seen nothing.  She said you didn’t get a yellow slip eh? I said no.  She said then you didn’t get any.  I am like WTF, normally at least once a week I have stuff to pick up because it over flows.  Plus, I know I have stuff that should have already arived already and hasn’t.

Get this as well.  The newspaper didn’t get out until Friday, Thursdays is the day it normally comes out.  I don’t know what happened.  I was told they got done about 3:30 p.m. on Thr.  That is about 12 hours later then we normally get done.  I am like damn!  That made the paper print around 24 hours later then it should.   I guess that is what happens when you have a one man dept.  I hope my part timer survived helping out.  I know the managing editor had to do a lot too.  By talking to a few coworkers, it was hell basicly.  One of the other people that has to stay late (copy editor) got sick deadline day.  Oh yea, the paper looks good though.  I see a few things, but that will happen when being rushed like that.  I was impressed by it.
