When will I get 1 million?
/’I wonder when I will hit the 1 million mark, my long-term goal? Let me estimate a time I think I might get. The last couple of years I have averaged a gain of about 25,000 business cards. I am at 68,900 right now. If I were at “0″ it would take me about 40 years. I have almost 3 years worth right now. Note almost. LOL So that means I take 3 years off of that. That is 37 years. Okay now. It is 2005, I added 37 years, so that will make it 2042. I am almost 29. So in 2042 I will be turning 66 years old. Wow! That is a very long time for my long-term goal. That truly is a long-term goal don’t you think? However, I do believe that as each year goes by I will gain more and more and more business cards. I am sure though by time you get close to 1 million it is harder and harder to not keep from having duplicates, but thsoe duplicates are cool. They can be used for trading. I hope that more and more print shops will let me pick up their overruns, misprints and such. I hope they don’t toss them. I can use them for my collection and for trades. just the same to anyone who has a stack or even 1. I will take any amount 1 to infinity. I am not picky on if the business card has writing on it, pin holes, torn, damaged or out of mint condition. I am not picky. As long as it is a business card it has a home in my collection. Wow! This entry is a long one. Prob. one of my longest entries ever. I enjoy posting my entries to it and allowing you all to view my entries. With your help I can get it early. Matter fact I hope I get it early. I love to see my mail box full! So fill it up today! I will be surprised if this journal entry will still be around in 37 years from now. If it is, it will be way way way back and will take a long time to get to from the current entry by then.
